In compassion, dearest Lord,

Thou wouldst not reject salvation."

By the love Thy tears are telling,
O Thou Lamb for sinners slain,
Make my heart Thy temple dwelling,
Purged from every guilty stain.

I am Thine since Thou hast sought me,
