Far from our homes, Lord, drive away temptation;
Be Thou our guardian through the hours of darkness;
Under the shadow of Thy wings defend us,
Send us Thine angel.

As Thy beloved, care for all who suffer;
Comfort the prison'd, those in lonely trouble,
Widows and orphans; from the power of malice

Hallowed, O Father, be Thy Name; Thy kingdom
